Frequently Asked Questions

How it works?

This site works by recording the referrer document from an incoming link. That means any site that links to us automatically gets a link back from this site.

When a site is first recorded, it moves to the top of the recent activity list, and is inserted in the proper order for the alpha and cronological pages. For the 'popularity' page, each outgoing click is recorded as a vote, and for the 'best friends' list, each incoming click is counted as a vote.

Back-links are generated instantly the very first time a request comes in from your page. The system then inserts your link in an 'honesty' que for periodic verification that a link to is in place on your site.

If verification later fails, your link is removed from the active pages and listed on the rejects page. To reactivate, just fix the problem on your end, the link will automtically re-appear on our active list.

Sites with disallowed content are removed permanently

I linked to you but my site is not listed. Why not?

Did you click? Our system is fully automated. If clicking on our link in your page did not produce a back-link, something is haywire with you browser, firewall or server. We won't be able to exchange links unless you can fix it.

How can I review a link/site?

To write a review  simply allocate the link you like to leave a comment for by browsing either View Links Alphabetically, Newest, Oldest, by Popularity or our best friends and click the pencil  near by.

My site is listed as rejected, but your link really IS on my page?

Is the link to us on a dynamic page? Our system can follow simple URLS with a normal query. If your page uses a complex query structure, such a session data, our robot probably could not find the exchange link. The solution is to put our link on a simple html page and click it.

Is this a link farm?

Yes, by common definition, this site is a link farm. We've employed certain techniques to avoid the label, but any site designed to accumulate a large number of links without narrative should probably be called a link farm.

If you have been advised to avoid link farms, and especially if you paid a big fee for that advice, then don't link to us. It won't make any difference, but you will feel better about the decision. Of course you can spend 30-40 minutes submiting your site to a link farm that calls itself a directory!
